    HELP! Midwest Saw Builders?

I can probably get some pics tomorrow after work. You ever do any light port work? I’m a little less than an hour from downtown Cincinatti.

    HELP! Midwest Saw Builders?

I think it’s just missing a clutch cover(and a bar/chain…) Supposedly was a running saw. It isn’t always easy to figure out where builders/porters are located, even if you do figure out which guys might be willing to work on it. Was hoping maybe someone would know somebody within a couple...

    HELP! Midwest Saw Builders?

I picked up a box of Stihl parts last summer for cheap. There’s a mostly complete ms260 that I wish were a complete and lightly ported ms260. Also a couple partial 361’s with lots of missing plastic/parts but supposedly still ok cylinders. I live in Indiana. Anyone have any ideas of someone...

    Another chainsaw dyno...

Very interested to see the 60cc class. Do you still have that 550 from the 50cc video? Any interest in running a 545 against it to see how the “5” series Husqvarnas compare to their more expensive counterparts? I have one with ~3 tanks through it...

    372 vs 572

I’ve tried to find old threads comparing the OE and XT 372’s. Some say there’s only a few ounces, others say there’s much more. Only thread I could find where someone actually weighed both of them dry showed less than 3 ounces. Is there another documented case of someone weighing both and coming...

    372 vs 572

Still wondering what happened to the ~half dozen posts that are now missing from this thread... Anyone have any ideas? Anyone care to expound upon why the 372 OE is so widely preferred over the XT if, in fact, the difference in weight is only ~3 ounces, the XT gets more cuts per tank, and the...

    372 vs 572

So you’re saying I should just buy all three and get 20% off, right? ;)

Is it my imagination, or are there several posts that were on here earlier and are now gone?

    372 vs 572

New guy here, so sorry for bringing up something that’s probably been covered repeatedly. After picking up a 545, I’m looking into a 70cc saw for running a longer bar. Would prefer to stick with Husqvarna, mostly because of local dealers. Looks like a 572, 372 XTorq, or even a 372 OE from a...

So what did you buy today

I’m halfway between Indy and Cincinnati, OH- probably 5 hours away from Grand Rapids. Buddy is originally from just outside Mt Pleasant. I liked it up there the one time we went years ago. I also have a 3 and 4 year old, which doesn’t make it any easier to go anywhere. Nice splitter!

So what did you buy today

Thanks! Now I guess I just need to keep my eyes out for a good deal on a 372/365/565/572. And on that subject, I think I read in another thread on here that you just might be a man who has/can get things? (Directed @chipper1) ( but also open to offers on decent second-hand 70cc Huskies from...
