I'm sure that the Echo CS-1201 is a fine saw, but I'm interested in a 3120.

Here's an update. I installed the carb kit and the elbow I ordered, replaced the fuel lines and tank filter. I put some 32:1 in the tank and it runs!

I can find an early flywheel without issue, but knowing the part number for the early coil would be helpful if anyone knows it. From my understanding, late flywheel works with 272 coil but earlier flywheel is paired with earlier coil. The flywheels only differ in the location of the keyway...

Me too. That's why I'm asking about installing an old style coil/flywheel combination vs only installing an unlimited (272) coil.
