Decembers only chance of fly in the ointment for me will be if I have to plow snow on that day.
Cold only means working harder to stay warm, take that over these past weeks of temps in the 90s.
Vertically challenged and sharpening in the woodyard worked fine for me last year.
Might suggest you start by looking in the cupboard. 🥴 does not come with the fancy packaging and marketing but a welding blanket is basically the same thing twice the size and half the price.;)
The saw 2024 mfg is not duel ported but the internal baffle was opened 1/2"X3/4" between its first week of usage and last weeks usage with no apparent change in hot start issue, saw did seem to run a bit stronger when cutting but may have been placebo effect no harm no fowl felling partner did...
Newish stock saw probably less than 50 tanks. saw started hard when hot but always eventually started, the final nail was Fri afternoon high 90s saw refueled in the shade fuel can in the shade 3 guys tried restarting the saw to no avail :BangHead: we did not pull the plug I grabbed a non AT...
Sorry! my intent was not to single out your comment rather a general reply to the fuel being used not being an issue in non AT saws.
Perhaps it does have something to do with AT/MT saws running leaner and thus hotter as
farminkarman pointed out.
Last Fridays afternoon temps mid 90s felling and bucking saw and veneer logs, 572 hot start issue no start issue cutting partner using gas from the same can of 91 non oxy offroad in his 372s and I used fuel from the same can of gas to finish the day with a G444.
I am confused with $2200 shipped PowerHeadOnly and will throw in a new 20" or 25" bar and chain, which is it PHO or with B&C and secondly which 25" B&C? I am about fed up with my 572XP hot start issues. :BangHead:
