Elm that was dropped off yesterday just as I pulled in with the pickup load. Got it and 3/4 of the pickup blocked up and moved to the backyard for splitting. Guessing in the range of 2+ cords sitting in the back for splitting.
Lightning and 1.5" rain overnight. At least not the storm damage the last couple were. Lots of people digging out from the mess. Luckily we are good here.
Storms rolled through this morning with some locations posting over 91 MPH winds. We got 0.02" rain and neighbor had a dead limb take out the back glass on a car. Maybe another round tonight so we will see.
I think it's $1,500 deductible so we can handle that. Still need a lot of education on all this farming stuff. Thank goodness we have great tenants that take care of most problems.
I haven't heard much beyond they were hauling in dirt and planning on pouring a new slab the next day. Maybe my brother will fill me in next time I see him or when the bills start coming in. Tenant was going to try insurance first. Guessing all the sand, Wheeler County, Nebraska, did not help...
I guess one of our tenets had a small problem with one of their pivots. Luckly they got right on it, got a bunch of dirt (sandy) and new pad and are back in business. Not sure what this is going to cost, and I'm guessing it will be us paying, but glad he took charge and got it taken care of ASAP.
Trying to work on the south side of the house, removing some stupid rocks that some idiot (me) thought was a good idea 10-15 years ago. plus burying a drainage tube and conduit in preparation for Google Fiber. Not the best weather for this crap as it had to be mid-90's real temp this afternoon...
Still have 1 and a half roll of C83 plus a partial roll of C33 I believe. Since I don't make them I just ask Edwin @Wood Doctor for them from time to time. Does cut nice.
