Do you remember if the rear handle was heated on the 200 series saws you ran? I've got a 268gG but it appears only the front handle is heated.

I had the same problem with a riding mower, I went through two chinesium carbs, finally bought the OEM carb and replaced all the gaskets between the carb and the head. It finally ran properly. The governor is doing it's job, the idle circuit is presenting a lean condition, and as the RMPs drop...
