What trimmer line do you use?

I've used a bunch, and find the Shakespeare ugly line to last the best

Any Musicians Here ? Fellow guitar junkies ?

I'll also play with the capacitor values to change what frequencies the tone control rolls off . Also guitar specific.

Beautiful. I always replace the ceramic disc with a quality oil/paper capacitor on the tone control just like you do

    385XP/390XP

You'll prolly need to port it. It won't cut with a 661 stock.

Found this from about 4 years ago. Pardon the quality and the singing. I can't remember if that was the Budda or Soldano. Prolly the Soldano.

My trimmer is nicer than yours!

Muff modded (de-catted) my 326. It's been remarkably tough/reliable. It changes tune noticeably with temperature, but I pulled the limiters, and it tunes easily. The husky heads have offered me no trouble, but using the 095 ugly line has made a big improvement over the husky line.

    Enough to make me sick

Where I live it's hot. I just cut it up and push it into a burn pile. Didn't freeze once this winter

Long bar - Skip tooth chain?

It's all personal preference. Skip bores just fine If anything, chip clearance is a bigger deal with bore cutting. When the chain jambs up on a bore cut, the power head gets shot out, usually right at u'r nuts.

Watch out for for @mdavlee, mastermind, and Tlandrum. All three had no problem selling me saws I have no business running!

ported 288 husky for a guy named sue

This one you built will come close, but it sounds and feels like it is about to tear itself apart above 13.5 (in a good but scary way)
