I wouldn't add any more strato duration. BTW, just about all saws after 3 hard cuts will burn your hand if you touch the cylinder.

Yeah the reed block is mounted on the crankcase. The carb and other intake parts mount to the reed block. It was a pretty common design...

I made the mistake of trying to swap over the throttle/choke plates onto a 394xp carb without staking them… Screw right down the intake...
