After extensive testing on my NE346 with a muff mod, I've swapped from the zama to the Hda 199 several times, no different in cut time... I will state a fact that the saw is quicker to rev with the hda 199, probably because it's equipped with an accelerator pump.

I thought the 681 had a different stroke

That why I opt for oem handles only. I've seen broken tanks from those Chinese crap handles, and the aluminum used isn't as strong as the oem stuff, and the handle wrap material lasts only week in a professional setting.
