I had two VW Diesels back in the 80's and the Owner's Manuals recommended up to 10% gas added to #2 fuel. Had to resort to that when a "50-50" mix gelled up and the rescue stuff wouldn't pour out of the can.
Being that #1 was more expensive than #2, the 50-50 blend was probably like a 50-50...

We rent a condo for a month with another couple at St. Pete’s Beach. We’re changing to a month later after this crap for the 2nd year in a row now. Right now it’s 40 and windy. 🤮

We were planning on stopping by you guy's neck of the woods in Hermann today on the way to FL. Guessing snow and ice convinced the wife we should wait a day for departure on said trip!

Most all the barns where I grew up in central WI were these or like them. Our barn built in 1910 was all home sawed White Oak and the family that built it said it was $600. The big ol' house was built a year later for $800. Driving a nail in any of it required a drill first.
Mine came about as I was collecting old fishing gear 25 years ago and eBay wouldn’t let me have fishing nuts or fishnuts1, so I tried Fishnuts2 and it kinda stuck.
I was fortunate to find this 70e this week.
Pictures are “as found condition”.
Original owner took meticulous care of it and I’m going to keep it that way.
