I've seen those on old corn planters and grain drills. Looks like it's been mounted on quite a few things in it's history.

I've got a couple of those. Not exactly the best design for a starter, that's for sure. Nice little saws otherwise.

And the neat part is that it's all free!

I have two FS85's that have been good units with string and blade. Also a couple of others from Husqvarna, Shindaiwa, and Echo. But an Echo 2620 is in another class by itself. Starting, power, and throttle response is the best I've used. Echo taught the rest how to make trimmers IMO.

Same here as well. Manage and harvest timber or burn it. Guess they made their choice.

Kinda warm even in MN so I was glad my daughter asked us to go out for a pontoon ride yesterday. Things calm down on the Mississippi Sunday afternoons and it was really relaxing.

I have one of those too. Had spark, couple of carb inspections, exhaust off, no love. @tree monkey said it was the coil not being able to advance to run. New coil and it's run awesome ever since.

In my opinion ya can’t hate a Soft Maple enough. Dirty, huge thing. Cleaned this pile off the roof and out of the gutters. In the Fall it’s tons of leaves. But it’s so big I don’t want to spend what it takes to get rid of it.

That's a start at least. They’re reluctant to treat it around here, you have to know where to go to get treated. They don’t want to give out the antibiotic to treat it at our local clinic at least not the levels my wife needed per her Dr.

We used to have a lot of Elm trees and when they died off, I could pick Morels in the yard. Harder to find now, but I usually start looking around the time the Lilacs blossom.

Ice is not off the lakes up there yet, at least not ours. Wife is itching to go up to the cabin, but has to wait a couple of weeks yet. Heard that a neighboring lake still had 2' of ice.

I read where Porsche was discontinuing EV research and development. Coal burning battery buggies. Hydrogen engines seem to be the next thing to try.

I had two VW Diesels back in the 80's and the Owner's Manuals recommended up to 10% gas added to #2 fuel. Had to resort to that when a "50-50" mix gelled up and the rescue stuff wouldn't pour out of the can. Being that #1 was more expensive than #2, the 50-50 blend was probably like a 50-50...
