In regards to porting you are probably right. Im sure the pro's will figure it out.

Transfer entrance is way down in the case. Cilinder entrance is just part of a tunnel. That extension on cylinder has to stay there imo

Look at my photo again and imagine how you would cut the base on a lathe. Than add asimetric chamber design and imagine cutting squish...

Messing with the 461. Had given up on the pipe thinking it made it super finicky. Turned out carb was gunked up now shes solid purring...

I have a 400C and its not a PITA to work on. I see the 400.1 one as basicly the same in that regard.

Looks like the lightened up the conrod to take some stress off the crank bearings. Also I am surprised to see the single butterfly carb.

Interesting to say the least. Either we figured out what they knew by chance, or they watched the forum.
