I noticed Husqvanra USA has the 564xp listed as coming soon with starting price $1099.99 and the G version starting price $1,179.99. Stihl USA site has no mention of an MS400.1 at all, just the current one and the MS362.

The marks on the new piston definitely mirror the scoring on the old piston like there was some transfer or imperfections left on the cylinder wall.

He would like to convert it, but the list of parts needed and availability may nix that. I am sure it would need an oil pump, clutch drum, chain brake system, spike bar, etc.

Looks like a Dolmar with a Bavarian twist. A buddy of mine picked this up recently. The tag under the clutch cover is blank with the numbers 93 309 stamped on it.
