The marks on the new piston definitely mirror the scoring on the old piston like there was some transfer or imperfections left on the cylinder wall.

He would like to convert it, but the list of parts needed and availability may nix that. I am sure it would need an oil pump, clutch drum, chain brake system, spike bar, etc.

Looks like a Dolmar with a Bavarian twist. A buddy of mine picked this up recently. The tag under the clutch cover is blank with the numbers 93 309 stamped on it.

I have on a 28” Total Super bar Dolmar 7910 and completely destroyed about 10 chain drivers.

The same situation here, if they’re priced right, they’re gone in a matter of hours it seems. Some are simply overpriced for the condition they are in.
