I was observing that perspective as well.. tweaking the low jet doesnt seem to help.. its only starving for fuel when not WOT. If the saw is WOT its happy. New coil, new plug. new PTO seal. And impulse channel is clear.
A year later, and the same issue, I have to nurse the throttle to keep it going. I have spare jets and went up and down a few sizes, make no difference. It seems as if it starves for fuel at idle and dies out. Tuning the low side has little effect. I dont have a lathe etc. Would it be possible...
