Yea it's nice and straight and it's a 3/8 groove . Im sure I can clean up the rails but I'd like to change the tip but I found a few different kinds . The Granberg tips are available for around $35 then there is a GB which looks the same but I'm not certain and also Forester has them so...

I recently acquired this Granberg bar and was wondering if it's worth a new tip or just toss it ? Rails are decent but tips loose and dented up bad . Thanks Ernie

Id think it rotates CCW with the idle screw the way it is but that's just a guess ...
