    After the coil replacement it ran but still no decent idle.. eventually I found that the carb needle spring was worn, so it go too much fuel. I replaced it with a stiffer spring and it runs ok now.

    could very well be. I'm trying to exclude the carb or coil. It stays on half gas forever but when I squeeze the throttle a bit more, it shuts down

    Hello, I have a 2013 T540XP that dies at full throttle, it shuts off. You can immediately start the saw after that. I checked the spark plug, fuel line, impuls line, intake boot, pressure tested the carb. Any suggestions? thx Erik
