I bought a 661 that had one on it. Something that really bothered me was that it shoots the exhaust right into the case where the serial number is. That general area of the saw is covered in black from the exhaust and oil. You can hardly read the numbers now and it looks like crap.
I've always noticed on my two Makita's that they build a lot more pressure in the fuel tank with temperature changes compared to the other brands. I started to get into the habit of cracking the gas cap before I begin to start them. If I don't, they seem to flood immediately.
I’m looking for a good used or new 440 cylinder that someone might be willing to part ways with. The saw is a stihl 440 12mm arctic non decomp but the top cover does have the factory hole for it.
