Agree on Neotec. Purchased 2-845, 6200, 6800. Cut intake gasket on 845’s. That 6800 with 22”bar cuts buried in red oak. Gave one 845 and 6200 to a person with no saws. Limbed 9, 24-30” oaks with that 6800. Are they as fast as my ported ms400 or ported 372, nope, but they do cut firewood.

Are you replacing parts with oem or have parts been updated to improve function?

372's oe or xt are easy to tear down and do complete rebuild. Clean every part, check carb screen, check bearings, base gasket (had one that blew pto side out), tank vent, fuel lines and impulse line, muffler screen, new o-ring (never seen a saw without one, pick around crank, bet you find...

I agree. Have had to tap seal in place with deep well socket or small piece of pipe, then motoseal around metal flange. Have a few washers that fit over shaft and seat seal nice.
