Oil is the enemy. It will clog the abrasive and next thing you have is heat! Heat is what takes the temper out of teeth.

Good to know. One bar is an old roller nose that I’d like to keep around. The other is basically going to be used for flush cutting stumps.

Do the roller bearing style rail closers work? I have a few .058’s that I would like to take down to .050 They might be clapped out .050’ to begin with? Penny will fit, should only be able to fit a dime…

I was at Rural King (a farm and household kind of department store). They carry pretty much everything in the Stihl lineup. Price is full MSRP 3/8x .050x91dl RS chain currently $60.87 up from $48.94 I expect the box will be pretty dusty when it gets sold.

Probably of very little consequence, but Stihl… Big hit on value.
