Oh ok, so if the case were, that the piston didn't cover the bottom of the transfers then you could enlarge them downward? Say until it met the top of the piston at BDC?
Ok, so i have a bit of a noob question. In the case of the OP, if the transfers were at the correct timing numbers after base cut.....could you lower the bottom of the transfers to make them larger to flow more since they cant be raised to make them larger?? will it have any detrimental effects...
yeah i did actually check this intake timing twice..i thought i was going crazy. ive been checking with the digital angle gauge method and got the same numbers either side of BDC and TDC. Ill have a look next time i get out in the shop and see what i can come up with. im happy to grind closer to...
