These aren't two stroke engines so they are quite tough, check oil level, change plug and fuel first.

I think there's two base gaskets for this saw, the thicker one is for countries with dodgy fuel I do believe.

Engine mount bolts will be loose I guarantee it! the top engine mount bolt being loose prevents the saw switching off (the earth connection is here!) Saw will be fine as long as the flywheel has not eaten away at the fuel tank! I have had success in using larger self tapping stihl bolts or...

Carb diaphragm is crusty 👍

Just make sure the flywheel hasn't worn too far into the fuel tank, common on this model when the mounting bolts strip!

It's more likely, that the crankcase is cracked around the bar mounting studs, quite common on this model sadly! ☹️
