    Look at placement of fuel pump diaphragm. If its not against carb its not installed correctly. Just figured that out, with lots of help, on my poulan 2000

Dont know how or why i installed the fuel pump gasket against the carb with the diaphragm on top but just shows to go ya that things need to go where they sposed to. i can only guess thats how it was when i got it and i just followed...

    Lot of good ideas which i will follow up on. The kit wasnt new but hadnt been used much after replacing it. Got so many saws that they tend to sit for long periods of time. Which brings up another question. Why would a rebuilt carb that was shelved need to be cleaned up to make it run? This...
