    500i bottom end.

I think I’ll clean it up then and throw it back together. Nothing to loose. I’ll let you know if it fails.

    500i bottom end.

Thank you for input. That’s interesting about sending fuel up to the bearings. Do you think a different type of bearing could last without as much oil? I’ve heard of Ceramic bearings but never encountered them yet.

    500i bottom end.

has anyone ever rebuilt 500i without the intake deflection part, type thing that is situated under the piston as it hits TDC? Reason I’m asking is I have 500i and that part was badly damaged, as bottom end is scrap anyway I thought about grinding is down like normal Stihl crankcase and...

It was such an ordeal to make blanking plates I did pressure and vacuum. Only thing I’m not sure I did was rotate crank. DOH!

    Stihl 151TC Erratic runner.

Repairing it so I don’t have that option. But I agree. Small echos are amazing and very rarely fail.

    Stihl 151TC Erratic runner.

Has anyone had issues with 151? Have one that soon as it gets warm it runs erratically. Turn it on its side and revs pick up hold it normally and the revs return to idle. I’ve stripped it down to pressure test it and it seemed to hold pressure fine. Coved it with soapy water and no bubbles...

    592XP In UK

So Husqvarna advertised the release of 592 about June last year in the UK. I have very good relationship with my local shop because I do repairs for them when it gets busy. A text was sent after hours to salesmen and it was ordered, paid for (to make sure I had first in shop) and I just had to...

    Pop up pistons

I was playing around today checking other piston pot combinations and yeah, the uk T-CM hits the squish band even with the gasket back in it. So it’s a complete pot n piston replacement like was mentioned right at the start of this post. So now I’ve got the correct numbers for kit I’m now...
