According to STIHL, with their .404 bar for MS 660, 77 DL. 84 DL for 3/8" bar.

Pump diaphragm on wrong side of gasket. Should be against carburetor.

Pawl spring backwards.

I see what your saying. I stated earlier that the front nut was tightened down. I believe, after your comment and reviewing the picture again, that the front nut was loose and the rear one tight. Thanks for commenting. Made me think. Larry. HOS

Looks to me like the bar was only clamped tight on front. For what ever reason, back of bar was able to flex and crack. Larry, HOS.
