I got a hearth stone in the house but it ain't been lit in 8 years.

It'll 54" if you're so inclined, I'm cutting 24"....easier to handle and load in the burner.

Yah, I've got half of it done. Hopefully if the weather stays as warm as it's been here, It'll last me the rest of the season. The rest I'll hammer on in the spring.

This is this years, had 4 cord of hemlock for fall and spring burning, the other stack of logs is beech, oak, locust, and hard maple I hauled in. Hemlock Hardwood Had twice what is in this pic by the time I got it all home, bout 16 full cord.

When I got this pile it was just a beam and a cylinder on wheels. I put a 10hp B&S motor with a 16gpm pump on it, and added the log lift and table later on. It's seen steady action for the last 10 years, about 15-20 cord a year. I have an adjustable wedge in the works, and a bigger motor/pump...

I usually do close to 20 cord a year, OWB heats 2 houses and a garage roughly 6000 sq ft. I'm actually down to about 10-12 cord a season after renovation on one house with new windows and spray foam.
