I did more digging in the barn the other night. This is a Whitehead chassis that came with a 820 engine. It was heavily modified and the frame shows it......racing is tough on stuff.

I like the 200, 2100 and 3100 saws. This pic was taken many years ago but my favorite part is my girl is laying there keeping guard. She is long gone now and running in Heaven.

I phoned a dealer a bit ago and spoke with a nice young lady. She ran the VIN and said it showed 8 owners but owners 1 through 6 might have been transferring between family members in Wisconsin. She also said it showed an accident in 2012. I asked if she could email that to me but I could tell...

The 820 and 610 West Bend was in the Root, Lancaster, Hoffco, Wards, Lamb, Whitehead, and Indian saws. I have all of those saws with a 820 and some with the 610. The only exception is the Lamb which has eluded me. Mono made the saws that were branded for Wards. I do not have any documentation...

That is definitely an option but since it is 26 years old I doubt it has been to the dealer much after the warranty ran out. The guy wanting to trade it on saws said it had a small exhaust leak.........yeah bullsheit!! As soon as he said that I knew that meant the Chinese exhaust manifolds were...
