Is the Poulan electric still available?

I Finally got a chance to look at this saw again. After cleaning it up as recommended it seems to have intermittent spark. Does the original flywheel have 2 sets of magnets on it? The flywheel that I have with this saw only has 1 set of magnets on it. It is probably very hard to tell in this...

Ms 280 that has been flawless for years,now has weak spark. I have tried a new coil which made it run for a few months then same problem again. I tried 2 other coils and a different flywheel with no luck. Is there something simple that I am missing with this particular saw? Is there a way...

Big thanks to Deets066 the saw delivery man for getting this saw to Illinois . I just picked this up from him less than an hour ago I made two cuts with it. Everything works just as advertised. Now I just have to move some wood around so I can keep using it. Thanks tick for dropping it off.

Not trying to steal your thunder @redline4 he sent me a message that I read before reading your post. You are both correct. The .17 Mach 2 is one of my most accurate plinking guns also fun and easy to shoot. Great starter for the kids as well. Thanks to everybody on the site.

I also assumed it would now become a wall hanger. However thanks to another member @breese of the forum I took another look and it now appears they are back in production. I was finally able to order some that did not say backorder. Woohoo.

That looks like a lot of fun is about to get going. Seeing these pics let’s me know I’m going to have to head that way for the next one.
