Need to check your spark at no less than 6mm gap, if you can jump a 6-8mm gap the coils is putting out enough volts to firing the plug under compression. have you tried changing the plug? autozone used to sell a adjustable spark tester you can adjust the gap on for cheap, just have to be careful...

I seen this alot with my landscape guys, i got a sheet of aluminum about 1/8 thick and just cut circles out of it and glues it to the piece that you tap to release the line was a game changer.

damn they have gotten cheap on us. they used to us a material called mylar atleast i think that was the name of it. has a somewhat checker board pattern on it
Had a saw that the seals would only leaking when in mid to high rpm when running, damn thing through me for a loop. had to use carb cleaner to find the leak, not a fan of that but sometime you have to do what you have to do.
