Ik that the oem 346 kit is going to be the best plan but he is going to be looking for total cost because he doesn't have a lot or money. So that being said I'll give him a couple options including oem. But I'm certain Ik what he will say
So do I need to get a hold of @Spike60 and get a price on an oem 346 top end? Before I price anything else?
He took it to a shop that said it had a bad cylinder and it would cost 400 dollars to get going. Needless to say that wasn't going to happen, he said he would just buy another saw before...
Yeah Im plan on making sure the jug doesn't have any casting flaws and I'll make sure everything is beveled well. Probably do some port cleanup as well.
This one is a 45mm closed port jug that's on it.
So guys I'm working on a 350 for a buddy and the plastic intake clamp roaches the top end. He's not going to pay for an oem top end.
That being said, Ik a lot of you guys switch to a 346 top end but will it get me anything extra being am vs an am 350 top end? Just curious.

Well, here's the best I was able to do with the lowers, I don't have a right angle hand piece so all I did was make sure the uppers were chamfered well. Cleaned up and blended the exhaust/intake. The exhaust port was only raised at the cylinder wall and the rest of the port was untouched. Same...
