No they don’t. All Poulan/Poulan Pro sells now are hedge trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws. I still have my old snot green Poulan P1500 curved shaft trimmer that might be about 15 years old. It actually still runs great, especially since I opened up the muffler a little and adjusted the carb. I...
While I haven’t put them through heavy abuse, I have the Gear Wrench set of T handle Torx drivers and they have been solid so far. $16 for the set whether you buy them from Amazon or your local Home Depot.

I still mow with my two 46 and 49 year old Lawn-Boy push mowers. Both still start up on the first or second pull. The oldest one has the points and condenser ignition. My battery powered drill drivers and hedge trimmer is about as far as I’ll go with battery powered equipment. But to each their...
We sold those and the garden tractor at the Ace Hardware I used to work at back in ‘88. I want to say they were made by Gilson for Lawn-Boy, but I can’t remember for sure.

Love a little sarcasm in the morning! But you didn’t specify if it was Saber, Dominator, or Intercepter. Must be Dominator so they can try to dominate the competition!😂

That has the Pulsa-Prime carb. Could be a couple things. Possible water in the tank, clogged pickup screen, or bad pump diaphragm. You can find the diaphragm kit at Lowe’s or any mower repair shop.

If you were thinking about a push blower, have thought about a power broom? That would definitely get the wet leaves off the driveway.

I just picked up my new Stihl MS261c a couple days ago. The guy at the counter told me that he recommends running 40:1 if I mix my own fuel. I told him that everything I own is 2 stroke and that’s the ratio I already use. But I did buy the can of Motomix to get the extra year on the warranty...
Oh I definitely will. But it will be a while. Waiting for the call to get on the schedule for shoulder surgery. Been off work for 8 weeks now and I’ve lost what little mind I had left!

Weeeelllllllll…… I finally made the decision and went with the Stihl MS261C. It was a tough one, but basically it came down to the M-Tronic was just slightly easier to do a reset with than the Autotune. I bought the can of Motomix instead of the 6pk of Ultra oil because as soon as I use up the...
Does anyone know if the Husqvarna 550xp Mk II still has bottom end issues? I’ve read that the 5 series had reliability issues from using a heavier piston and something about the crankshaft. Or was that from the original 550xp? I know the 550xp Mk II is basically a ground up new design saw, not...
