And historically the jonsered had a straight across front handle.

I don't know for sure - I've never had a 2260 so I'm going by pictures. I know on some of the older Jonsered saws, a Husky brake handle...

I think the main issue with using a 555 brake handle will be interference with the handlebar. It looks like the Jonsered handlebar sits...

I am sure someone on here knows more than me but from what I can tell. 2260 and 562 have the same case but different brake handles...
