Toward the end of my dad's career he ran mostly SP-80/81s and he said they were flat-out one of the finest timber falling saws ever made (Third only to the SP-125 and P-62/655).

Although my 3270 sounds pretty cool.

The 3270 is a very underrated saw, as was the 2260.

A while back someone had a 181 next to a 372 at a gtg. Amazing how compact the 181 is with the low top. Especially if you consider its power, displacement and age.

The 181 was available in the fall of 1982, it was featured on the 30th anniversary cover of Chainsaw age magazine and a small write up on it inside, a copy of Chainsaw age I just happen to have....:)20141022_121817.jpg

In thinking about it, my CFB hybrid is sweet. It “feels” more aggressive, more raw than my 7910, but I think the AV and smoothness of the 7910 are deceptive. I should run them back to back with the same chain.

Yeah, a well done up hybrid is right near the top for me as well
