Nice Kevin. Awesome job on that rebuild!
Definitely done right, now. Holds RPMs really well and should only get better and better.
I think sawmikazee will really like it! [emoji106]

Thanks Jeff

I'm about ready to box her up, then I looked at the muffler and caught a glimpse of something, grabbed the T27 and took the first picture, so I did a little bit more work, then took the second picture

Double screen or did you just go with the larger opening screen?

That's a nice running saw now. An 8pin .404 sprocket is pretty big fast gearing that takes a lil omph to cut large wood. Hope Ryan enjoys his saw now.
Thank you Sir !!
I was hoping someone would notice
The setup, the wood, and the RPM she held.
I really had to lean into her, I thought that I wasnt going to be able to stuff her .............. maybe after she breaks in some, it'll become even more difficult

IIRC, he runs a 3/8 drive with an 8 tooth on a 32 or 36 B&C ................ Ought to really make him sweat and struggle to pull her down without the dogs

I bought a near new 660 out of the states from an AS member then Randy ported it and modded the oiler. Its a damn good saw for our hardwoods and cuts fast with 404, I run a 7pin but have an eight too & when in your hand next to other .325/3/8 sprockes you realise how much bigger they are. Old big torquey saws with cutting rpm's of 7k like the big sprockets to get some chain speed, new saws cutting at 10-12k really need some power to do it well. Job well done!
