He's likely using an impact. I use one all the time, to DISASSEMBLE/LOOSEN bolts. Took me about 2 saws to figure out using it for assembly was a no-no. The work repairing threads wasn't worth the increased assembly speed. But that factors in giving-a-shít and actually doing the repairs.

I use one both for assembly, and disassembly. I just don't use it to tighten the bolts. I snug them up, and then tighten with a tee handle.

As you said, it's a matter of give a damn.

Impact and magnesium/ aluminum don't mix to well. Guess his give a *f-word is broken.

You guys should all mail JMS a bag of "Jerk-in-a-Box" popup dogshit just to make sure the message was received loud and clear, really.
Priceless ...

No law against mailing dogshit on a spring board. ;-)
Edit: sprinkled with his famous case dust, bearings, seals and pistons.

She runs.

I'll get her into some wood in the next day or so. Also get a good idea on compression. She feels pretty good, added a Husky decomp for additional decomp-ability and she closes right up on the first couple of revolutions
