I have the following carburetor WYL. It is from a Troy-Bilt backpack blower. I can not find where the carburetor adjustments are for high and low. It seems the closes is the adjuster screw for idle. I rebuilt the carb and it idles but when I press the gas it cuts off. I need to adjust the carb to get it to not fall on its a$$.

Thanks

its 100% fixed jet carb for the high and for the low if there a adjustment it will be in the center of the rotor. will either take a micro d carb tool or you will need a 2.5 mm flat head screwdriver and a 2.5. bolt to pull the limiter carb

I’m, unsure how one would fit the throttle cable, as it seems like the attachment point has been broken, well that’s according to the manual it has.

And yes I read through the manual and came to the same conclusion that it was a fixed high. And probably only been adjusted with the throttle stop.

;)

If it was a fixed jet it would have a small bb pressed in the whole

After speaking to a Walboro rep they gave me the following model number for the carburetor "Walbro WYL-247A".

you can also make them out of the 2 piece briggs carbs that has the long brass emulsion tube behind high adjustment

dont think about things broken. pretty sure the throttle has lead z casting that is longer on the end to keep it from slipping out

Just hope they are better made than the ones I got off Amazon. The 4 mm hex is loose fitting and the large Pac Man was too loose but I already had that one.

I just realized that I have the Micro D adjustment tool. I will give it a try and report back.
