I have a chance to buy a used Echo PB-770T that hasn't seen much use. Recently had a coil installed .

I picked it up and it was owned by a older gentleman that had a stroke. He Just replaced carb, coil, and air filter. It's in as good of shape as the picture showed. Homeowner low hours. Carb need adjusted running fat

Get it. Buy that beyach up. Make shure it has a tunable carb. If not retro fit a butterfly carb on it and it will run awesome all the time. Some of the new echos have a epa lock on the carbs and they are the rotary carb.very Lil adjustment can be made. I love my free back pack blower. It has some power

Love my pb-500t that I got used at the beginning of this year for $120. Plastics aren't as nice as yours but it runs great!

Any recommendations on a butterfly carburetor that will work on the Pb-770 blower without much work?

I could see the carb if he wasn't one to put e free fuel in or left the gas in it and ran it sparingly, but the coil is kind of a mystery.

He told me it would not start and bought another blower also for sale at 300. It sat for awhile and had no spark. From sitting it needed a carb.

You made out like a bandit, I am jealous:) Good used back packs are very hard to find, I came across an Echo with damaged plastic, by the time I got to his house it was gone.
