Just thought I would throw in that my largest volume firewood customer is running a Lopi stove in his house and heats well over 50% of the house with it. I have thus far since early October delivered seven truckloads of very hard wood -- oak, ash, locust, hard maple, and walnut -- to him and he intends to burn all of it.

His only constraint is the 18" log length. I use an 18" story stick to check the length of the rounds before I split them for logs. So, he rejects none of the logs that I deliver. I have to wonder if he uses a fan or blower with that stove. As I write this post, my Ecofan is whirring away -- a silent work horse doing its job.
