Wood lot pics

I feel really lucky that I don't have to scrounge for wood, I have a nice wood lot on the farm that supplies all the wood I could ever need from standing dead and blow down alone. I know I am not the only one. Lets see some pics of your wood lot and a description of the species mix.

I mostly burn white and red oak of one sort or another, I have some hickory and poplar and red maple. Very little

Nice, I lived in Steamboat Springs for 8 years and cut on Forest Service permits.

I have been through Cheyenne. Big sky country for sure.

Nice. I've got a couple of them. One is a turbo and a stock sled both 800 in the rev xp chassis. What years did you work around steamboat?

95-03. I had a 97 670 which was the largest offered at the time. Longest track was a 136". I got it dirt cheap repo'ed in the spring of 99 I think.

Mostly backcountry skied off it.

I need to change the location on my avatar. I actually live about 30 miles east of Cheyenne in a small town called Carpenter. I do get a lot of wood from Cheyenne from different sources there.

I have worked around carpenter a few times. Hauled corn to burnetts dairy there quite a few times. Have several friends around that area.
