Tree service just dropped a load of this stuff. It's fairly heavy, split quite easily with my Fiskars and is so bright white inside it was basically glowing from the UV light this evening. Any ideas from my crappy pics? I'm guessing it's not anything great but, it's free!

Looks a bit like hackberry. Not great but like you said, free.

Hard to tell but my best guess is ornamental willow of some type.
