Will water get in?

Got a new 327pt5s it's got the green cat vented fuel cap. Will water get in? It's gonna set outside in my bucket truck for it's whole life...

Not much, not enough to be an issue. Husqvarna has been using those vented caps on a variety of applications for a little over 20 years. Inside the cap is a sintered brass vent insert and it doesn't allow much fluid through it.

Ok i didn't see how they could get away with a fuel cap that would let water in.

I have the trimmer version that has lived on the mower trailer all it’s life and never had a problem. If you are really worried about it have a local awning company make you a waterproof bag to go over it.
