So what did you come up with on the 181? What carb is on it. Are you saying the low speed screw is moving around or the idle screw/t labeled screw on Husqvarna.

I haven't looked into it further so far, but I think that the idle bolt is not original.

I'll take a close up picture of the bolt and ask for thoughts and opinions.

I have seen that with time the threads get sloppy and won't hold the screw properly. I know some Tillotson carbs use a piece of plastic or rubber to help hold the idle screw. Pics would be great. Liked the videos and made some comments.

I am supposed to troubleshoot the 181SE for my neighbor who is also my firewood supplier, so that I will try figure out the idle change issue.
I will take pictures of the carb and post them.

As I said before, my videos feature stock saws, regular chains and 100% real life conditions and performance in some dense hard wood which tends to be dirt infested from skidding.
I am glad You like them. :)

Thank You for watching and commenting! :beer-toast1:

Nice Wilhelm. You happy with it?
Yep, love it - just need more beech logs, they are so much softer than turkey oak, much more fun to buck.

Dolmar PS-550 with the same play chain in 16" turkey oak.
No sharpening done, the loop has the bucking cuts of the previous video on it.

Fresh/green beech is a hoot to buck, fun-fun-fun - beautiful snow white chips too. :)
