It would be cooler if it was a OEM head. Most BB kits steal some room from the transfer tunnels kind of negating the gains.

And why did he swap heads?

Might not be a bad deal if it is really clean.

Well I would think of it this way then. Did it get a BB kit to what it can do and he still has the good p/c?

Or did it get fried and only get a new p/c ?

So i got his story. He bought it new from a shop in Missouri when he lived there and had the shop do the work to it. His thought was to do it to try and run abigger bar then what its rated for. Never did. 24" was biggest he ran and realized he only really needed a 20". supposedly only cut maybe a dozen trees up with it. Im gonna try and meet up with him tomorrow to check it out. I think i got him down to $380

I'd be pissed unless they paid him for the p/c

Now this is just me but that kind of money can get you a decent 044/440 or you can save a little more and get a 036/360.

Agreed. And i already have a 60cc class saw Thats like brand new. Its a timberwolf i bought about 3 years ago during the Echo dealer days sale. $300 for a brand new saw. It does pretty dang good in the big white oaks we cut occasionally. Think a 18" bar would liven it up a lil more though but it doesnt disappoint. Thanks for the help. Ill still follow up on it tomorrow for giggles and let ya know. Im hittin the hay, turkey huntin tomorrow. 3:30 comes early

whats up Dub! So i took ur advice and held off on the 361. Ill let him stew on the offer a lil longer:)After all i got 4 saws already and only 2 hands. But the thought of modding and porting my cs-590 got my attn! Its funny that u can twist someones arm and get a result that fast:) so it sounds like MMWS is the guy to go to around here. By any chance do u know what he charges to do something like that? Or if thats a saw that will benifit a lot from tweakin?
