Did it happen to be Brink?

If you mean Dave Brink - I cut on one of his sides for a few days in 2004 when I was working with Chuck Lambright.

We were working for James Graf and Dave needed a small strip on the southeast side of a unit knocked down and one of his cutters was laid up. They were just down the road from Graf's sale.

That’s pretty sweet

Yes! Good folks there. Met them out elk hunting a few years ago and be going out for Cascade elk ever since! Definitely glad to have met someone like them in the middle of nowhere that are right down the street from me.

I call em my great white buffalo saws, itd be hard to narrow it down but at the very top of my list is a poulan 8500 full wrap big spike, 36" bar. Then a toss up between a mac 797 or sp125 or a sachs dolmar 166 full wrap.

I am in the works of obtaining my white whale!

A Sachs-Dolmar 105 in what looks like mint condition.

That bar could be the factory original still. o_O

Guy won't ship period but will meet in person anywhere in his town.
That would be a 250km trip one way. I am free till Monday, but fuel costs and highway toll would hurt the deal badly.
I'm working on getting her picked up by relatives of a good friend.

I'll have her picked up tomorrow.
Guy supposedly refused a second buyer while I made arrangements for pick up, he said I have first pick - sounds fair.

According to the seller, factory original bar and chain!

Worst case scenario I'll have another parts saw.

Exchange has been made a day early, the SD105 is practically mine.

Friend might go visit his relatives on Friday so I might get my hands on the saw during this weekend. :)

Mine would be Homelite xl 500, xl 400 and xl 15 gear drive. I love the xl-12 super xl family, those would complete the collection.

I'll have to fuel her up tomorrow and give her a try.
I'm not allowed to make chainsaw noise on Sundays. ;)
