Anybody got info on the new 562xp? The new version 50cc and 70cc (550 mark 2 and 572xp) saws are already out and husky has made great improvements! Hoping the trend continues with the 562

I don't know, but they are due! If they can improve build quality the way they have with the 550 mk2 and the 572, stihl will have a real problem on their hands.

If Husqvarna wants to cause a ruckus they should bootleg some saws that are made else were back into the US market lol.

Really all the 562 needs is a few small tweaks/design changes to make it a LOT less prone to problems. Nothing radical, some changes that could possibly even be retrofitted to earlier saws too. A few minor improvements could remove a heap of frustration both customers & dealers suffered to date. It 'should' be the best 60cc class saw on the market. A few tweaks solving the heat soak issues, some better paint on clutch cover, latest AT tech & a filter upgrade could really put this saw as a king of 60cc saw contender. I think Husky is heading in the right direction and are responding well. For a while I think they lost a little confidence, you saw this in how they took SO long bringing the 572xp to market, they wanted to set the 5 series on the right path, and that was putting a dead nuts reliable saw on the shelf. Well of coarse my ramblings are just opinion/speculation not exact facts, but for those who had a bad saw experience, don't write off the Sfeedisss Hoskie just yet, the future is looking bright.

I never understood why the 357 and 346xp had much better filtration than there replacements the 562 and 550 mk1. Both air injection so there shouldn’t be an excuse. Similar size filters. My 350/346 filter stays cleaner a hell of a lot longer than the 2253 (red 550xp) I had... and it don’t pass fines. The 572 and 550mk2 it’s nice to see they changed that and hopefully the trend trickles down to the 562. Really a filter change and the heat shielding between the carb box is all it really needs to be a lot more reliable imo.

They need to run the carb setup and airfilter setup thats on the 572 with the heat shield partitions or whatever they are, space the muffler off the cases and move it forward a bit like the 572s, beef up the bearings and focus on quality control. No new saw needed just make the 562 like they should have from the start. The bothersome part is there is no reason they couldnt have done this several years ago

I share the same thought. Build quality and quality control needs to be where the other models are.

Blokes using there saws daily can forgive some shortcomings but will never accept an unreliable saw. It has to work & get the job done.

I agree, better muffler for disapating the heat, better filter, shield to keep the heat from the carb and the Gen 3 autotune, small tweaks and a great saw becomes legendary!
