Fun fact 550's cost more than 560's here.
Wow. I was able to get the carb version much quicker than the CM. Matter of fact I ordered two CM's at a dealer and called to see when they arrived and he had gotten carbies instead. This may be a limited amount of saws, but for now they are available.Maybe 'have access to' would be more appropriate. I asked the guy at the dealer the other day about the standard carb 462 and he looked at me like I was out of my head...
Ouch. That's expensive. I'm seeing 550 down to 450 and the shops are most probably negotiable. With the 2012 exchange rate the 346xpg was over a grand here in Sweden. With the much stronger dollar it would now be about 800ish.
That's interesting. I'm seeing ads starting for the 550 at 699 and the 560 at 799 locally.Fun fact 550's cost more than 560's here.
Is the Husqvarna 61 listed there? I know it is offered in the Brazilian market with the 272, and 288, and non x-torq 372.I was curious if and when Husqvarna stopped offering the 346XP in the US or NA. We still have them on the shelves here, and in the catalogs, so I wasn't even aware that they had stopped selling them in some places until I heard talk of it over the forums.

According to the dealer I talked to locally Husqvarna is strict with pricing where as there is a little more wiggle room with Stihl. It is also easier/faster getting things covered by warranty with Stihl. Husqvarna has a bigger market share and Stihl is trying to take some of that away with being easier going according to this guy.
My wife paid $400 for mine three years ago, the dealer could not sell it. A few weeks ago he asked if I still had it, because a tree service was looking for a clean one. I said no even know he offered $800. It is very special that she bought it for me and it is an awesome running little saw!
No, I never saw that and I was lookin pretty close at the time.Wasnt there a period of overlap where both the 346 and 550 were catalogued? As I remember that version of the 346 was practically a 550 with the older model number.
Last new one I saw on a shelf was 2015, for $579. I thought it was too high, but now wish I'd of bought it.Crazy! I picked up a new (display) 346XP in 2014 for $404 out the door. I never thought to look at the tag for the year of manufacturer. That was about the same time I picked up the new (display) 357XP PHO for the same money.
Wow thats a little over $1000 canadian! I bought one with a tank thru it,, price I paid makes me feel fine! its a 2012 week17According to what's happening on fleaBay, I would say $800 isn't far off. This fellow is asking $795 for a used one. Not the only one either...there are quite a few listed for over $700. I can get a brand new one and ship it to the US for cheaper than that.
