Here's a couple more of the things that take up what little time I have away from work...View attachment 108682 View attachment 108683

Very nice stuff Steve, I gotta get a new back tire,it's been warm enough here the last few days to want to do all my running around on 2wheels. See what you're starting, once I go to town on it, it's self driving mode could take over and I could end up in Tennessee...

I assume by your Sig that you served, if so Thank you very much for your service... Matt

Thanks man! Yeah, did my 20 years and punched about 6 years ago. If you ever get that back tire on and feel like riding west, I live in an incredible place to ride. Zion, Bryce Canyon, Great Basin and Grand Canyon NP's are all within a couple hours. I'd be happy to play tour guide for a fellow saw junkie from OPE!

Sometimes I can combine a few hobbies into one.

Here is a bed I am working on

Should probably post this in the “What are you making with your milled lumber” thread too.

What kind of wood are those drawer faces made of? I can't place that look. Pecan?

I enjoy smoking all kinds of stuff. I smoke cheese, peppers, elk and venison and fish. I cut all my own chips and try different types of wood. I love Alder but have been using Madrone lately and it has a nice flavor.
This thread is really cool.

Here is a picture of my hacked together smoker I built. It started out with some free oven racks and I just built around them, I used a new damaged Freightliner M2 charge air cooler and welded the inlet and outlet shut so I could run water through it under pressure. I can smoke meat on the bottom and cheese on the top at the same time. The cooler can drop the temp down to about 70 degrees and I smoke the cheese for three hours flipping it about 4 times.

Used Hurrican Matthew salvaged Ipe for the cross slats. That stuff is so hard, stiff, and strong I did not even need a center support. Got the raised panel headboard done too. What am I saying? I got the whole thing done.
