Comparing a HLS 460 jug to a New West 440 Big Bore jug. I'll post details in my thread "Starting Asian 440 BB $4 Today".

Deleted the base gasket, ended up at .020" squish. Opened up the delfector tab on the front of the muffler.



It's a 44mm version, no points.
Is a timing bump worth doing on these, or just leave it?

After that one was buttoned up. I got into this one.

Project 3450 54cc I just got in. I wonder why it wouldnt start . Worst I have ever seen on this style of air filters. The pleats I am guessing half inch deep. Laid a cleaner filter in pic to compare to. Also mix in tank smelled like turpentine.
Least the piston and cylinder look good. I would have figured scored.

It would probably improve mpg.

Do they make those small enough to fit in a chainsaw?
One between the a/f and carb, one in the intake boot, that chatter in the squish band and one in the exhaust should quadruple swirl and therefore fuel economy... Cut all day on one tank of fuel, but have to fill the 710 tank often. [emoji6]

I was gonna replace my AF with one. The cyclonic effect should keep the air mountain fresh going to the carb.

Would probably want one in the gas tank too.
