Has anyone done a port/polish on a line trimmer just because? I happened across a Kombi unit (no idea which one all the labels are gone, its 34mm piston) that had a broken exhaust bolt. Figured since I had it apart I would have some fun with it.

Do it, I got a free fs120 a few years back, got it running, switch was bad, then I converted it to a 250 with a China 40mm cylinder, did some widening and clean up plus a base gasket delete and cabers...then I got a free Kombi shaft!it is a mean machine love it! I also have an all stock fs250 and the one worked over as muck more power and quicker throttle response! I like them both, but that Kombi fs250 is cool!

That’s a pretty good chip in the piston and I wonder if it’s garb.

There are chips on the piston that have accompanying chips on the squish?

That cylinder should clean up but if you decide to get another one I'd be interested in it. I'd find another piston
