Parts for that Kawi FD are outrageous. He was lucky I was able to get the radiator to clean up, a new one is $667.95 plus tax.

Any one seem a bearing fractured like this??? It’s a new one on me. It’s on an 03 Husqvarna 365 Special.
Didn’t notice any prominent bluing or discoloration on the crank end.....but rougher than a cob to turn...
Other than this all seems well.

Just put a clutch on a series 6 Snapper rider.
Working on the 20+ yr. old mower is a breeze.
The motor has been replaced with a 17hp one.
No i did not put that big motor on it but i got the mower free so i will take it.
Forest Gump rides again.

I’m gonna add that I think the one that fits only the 372 might be for when the 371 and 372 were out before the 385 came out around ‘01. Then they decided to share the same pump and added the extra screw hole. That’s my guess. Not sure why they changed the spring on adjustment screw? Also the worm wheel powering the pump is different on the 385 from what I saw. This is the old style with the plastic wheel. Not sure if this applies to the newer pumps with the metal drive wheel.

Bearings in an 066 yesterday.
Ported a 7900 and started it up and it needed bearings too. Tonight I split it and cleaned it up and put it back together.




The white top looked like ass with the new HD filter cover




So I sanded it with an orbital and 180 grit to knock off the shine and died it black.
