This isn't really on my bench but a project I am working on, pulled a crankshaft out of a wrecked Cat C15 truck engine for parts, got it sent off for mag and polish. This was in wrecked truck and broke the oil pump off the bottom the block in the wreck,I love working on the big iron. Going to build a platform engine for a glider kit (brand new truck minus the engine and trans).

Was doing some emergency work on a chainsaw today for a friend. So he could finish cutting before dark. Broken clutch spring.
He just happen to bring something I havent shot before. 500 S&W. So that is now my biggest handgun over my 454 casull I owned.

New impulse, fuel line, filter. Changed coil out for a known good one just for the heck of it but still only running on choke. Guess I’ll be finding another carb, which I hate to do because I’m wanting to sell this one and it’s gonna take more outta my pocket now
Does the 036 have the choke flap in the filter like the 026? If so it may be stuck closed. I have seen it on 026 ' s before.

I was gonna answer that CFB beat me to it. It’s heading to New York now anyway and will probably be turned into a little MOFO:)

I’ve still got the same 066/660 on muh bench.

The zero temps and snow has hammered me at work, keeping crazy hours and freezing muh junk off. To top it all off, i left early today with a 102 fever

I’ll be running her this weekend though, my son will test her out if I can’t shake this cold. Supposed to be above freezing Saturday and raining, then below freezing on Sunday. Hoping to get her mailed out this coming Monday

My apologies .........
I’ve been struggling to get home before the post office closes. Finally got stuff mailed out that was boxxed and ready to go from way before Christmas

Watch it because a bad flu bug is going around. Son said the 200 bed hospital he is at is over flowed. 2 kids have died in other areas.

So pay attention to it if it gets bad.

I got that flu like sickness back in the month of November. That was the first time I got really sick in a long time. Needless to say I got my flu shot right after that.

Partialy disassembled and gave it ‘the dip’ over two weeks ago. Parts are in from China but too cold in the garage to mess with.[emoji90]
