Managed to get its first run in before family stuff. Around two turns out on high side, 1.5 on low side. I gotta get more familiar tuning ported saws. Plug was dry? after 6-7 cuts. Definitely stronger than stock though.

What heli coil kit size do you use for the partition plate? What size and thread carb bolts do you use?

Got a bunch of these series Huskies that will be made into runners. Don't want them to come back, so I will do it right.
M5x.8 helicoil. Use a m5x45 mm socket head bolt. I do this even if they are not stripped yet

Photos to follow, but I’ve got this 10mm 044 slantfin on the bench that needs all the magnesium replaced.

CrankCase, starter and Clutch cover.

As well as seals, bearings, air filter....
There’s actually more to the list.

Fellow who owns the saw has a budget.
Of course.

Are there aftermarket cases for these?
for example

How’s that grab you ope?

The saw was definitely struck by or dropped on and I’m not sure the crank is 100% straight but the piston and cylinder seem to be in good shape.
All the bits are there and cleaned up pretty well.

Case is garb.

I would use the AM seals.and bearings, haven't heard much issues with them, for the piston order a meteor and save your self some $. Run the OEM cylinder, circlips and bearing. I always like OEM carbs too. Make sure and wash that cases out first before assembly with mix, flush the AM bearings also

I have a 365 special on the bench getting an overhaul; new bearings, new crank, new seals, new ported OEM OE cyl, not sure if OEM piston or Meteor, Cabers, RWJ4 and a muff mod. I forgot to take pics before coming inside.

I’ll send pics in the morning!

that saw was fourstroking most of the way through the first cut, and a little at the end of the second. its got plenty of fuel already.

Thanks. Yeah I've watched that video many more times and keep listening to it. I can hear it, but at first i thought it was rev-limiting,but then I remembered that saw has the black coil so....
