Bout to launch this MS192T into orbit. Damn recoil won’t stay together. Starting to wonder what’s wrong inside. Any suggestions?

Launch it my way!

Will it stay together while pulling rope off the saw? The clip that holds everything may be worn and coming off when under pressure.

I replaced the banjo clip and pawls when it grenaded last time. I think the coil spring (not the recoil spring, but the other one between the recoil and the pawls) took the brunt when it launched this time.

Would I be better off to put a non ez start pulley in it?

Indeed.

We have a bg86c blower at work, guys kept drop starting it,bending the snot out of the easy start spring. A bit of JB weld later.... all is fixed!

Recently had a 201 with a FUBAR EZstart spring, basically same as your issue. Cut the spring down, bent a new hook and re-installed. Seems to Work way mo betterfull now.

A colleague to my logger buddy came with this trio today, stored in a humid farm building, 257 - 42 special - 254:

None of them are scored, all 3 locked, I don't give them much of a chance:

2152 Porting job. Dunno how many I've seen like this, 10 last 2 years maybe, more often on those with metal clamp.

Replaced the original oil line in a 10mm 044 today. Oils a 24 with some to spare where it was only keeping up with a 20 before. These units were listed at 5.9kg with a 330ml (661 is 360ml) oil tank and 800ml fuel tank(661 is 825ml). Oiler is rated at 8-18ml/min. Damn fine worksaw with only a opened up muffler.
